Using Glucocil

How should I start taking Glucocil?

For the first 3 days, take 1 softgel with lunch and 1 softgel with dinner. After 3 days, take 2 softgels with lunch and 2 softgels with dinner. If you forget to take Glucocil with a meal, feel free to take it after that meal.

The instructions say to take Glucocil with lunch and dinner, but can I take it with breakfast?

Yes. Take Glucocil with your two largest meals of the day, and if breakfast is one of those two, that’s OK.

Would I benefit from taking more than the recommended amount?

Perhaps. Depending on your individual situation, taking more than the recommended daily amount may help you reach your blood sugar goals. Of course, you should first consult your physician.

When should I test my post-meal blood sugar level?

One of the most important times to test your blood sugar level comes 30-45 minutes after you eat. This 30 to 45 minute “window” is when your body is digesting many of the carbohydrates and sugars from the foods you’ve eaten. Testing your blood sugar during this time will often show a significant “spike”–or higher elevation–than other time points such as two hours after meal.

Is it safe to take 3 times a day?

Yes. Glucocil can be taken 3 times a day, with each meal.

Occasionally I like to treat myself to some carbohydrates like bread or pastas. If I take some Glucocil prior to eating them, will it help?

Yes. Taking Glucocil before a carbohydrate treat will help reduce the blood sugar elevation after.

Since taking Glucocil, I feel less hungry and more energetic. Is this expected?

Yes. The ingredients in Glucocil promote normal blood sugar levels, helping you feel less hungry and more energetic.

If Glucocil makes me less hungry, should I skip meals?

No. We suggest eating three smaller meals, along with healthy snacks between those meals.

Should I take Glucocil every day?

Yes. The nutritional support from Glucocil diminishes if you take less than the recommended daily amount, because the ingredients cannot be stored by your body. And unlike a drug, a dietary supplement requires time to do its work: Glucocil will immediately begin helping manage your blood sugar levels, but allow your intestines, liver, and cells the time to put this increased support to full use.

Would diet and exercise help me while taking Glucocil?

Yes. You may see better results if your blood sugar management program includes proper diet and exercise. Eat fewer carbs and bad fats, but more fiber and good fats. And get at least 30 minutes of exercise at least 5 days a week, to help your muscles continuously draw sugar from your bloodstream, so you can better support healthy blood sugar levels.

You can also try eating all your meals within 8-10 hours (the remaining 14-16 hours of the day, you don’t eat). For example, have all your meals between 10am and 6pm (8 hours), or between 9am and 7pm (10 hours). Recent research suggests that doing your eating within a limited time window (intermittent fasting) can help promote healthy blood sugar and weight loss.

Other members of my family are concerned about their blood sugar. Should I suggest they take Glucocil?

Glucocil can be used by people who are overweight and concerned about their blood sugar. Of course, they should first consult a physician.

Who should not take Glucocil?

Does Glucocil have any side effects?

Glucocil is formulated to be generally safe, but please talk with your doctor before using any supplement. One of the 3 ways that Glucocil promotes normal blood sugar levels is by reducing the absorption of carbohydrates in food. Unabsorbed carbohydrates (especially if one eats too many of them), can give some minor discomfort (bloating, gas, constipation, loose stools) before being expelled from the body. However, the majority of people don’t experience discomfort, especially if they’re watching their carbohydrate consumption. People who have discomfort but stick with Glucocil for a couple of weeks find that it usually goes away. And as with any dietary supplement, if you experience heartburn or acid reflux, rather than take Glucocil before or during your meals, you might try taking Glucocil right after your meals.
